For this first accountability report for the year and for the blog, I should catch you up to where I am on things at the beginning of 2026.
I’m currently trading three different prop firms (Topstep, Tradeify, and The Futures Desk) and I also have multiple personal accounts (EdgeClear for futures, and others for stocks and options.). I notice I struggle with juggling multiple accounts because I don’t copy trade them. I want to eventually just do one account with one firm and that is my current main goal. I know this is kind of against what is popular these days with everyone doing copy trading. I want to progress without it as best I can.
- Tradeify – I’ve had a “Lightning Funded Account” that’s been open since October 30, 2025. This is the date of my latest purchase from Tradeify and I haven’t purchased anything from them since. This is likely to be my last account with them until further notice. This account had two payouts (one in November and the other in December of 2025). I also took a third payout in this account this week (written below).
- Topstep – I currently have a $150k Express Funded Account here that activated at the end of December 2025, but didn’t start trading till January 5, 2026. No payouts from this account yet. I also started a $50k Combine ($89 + tax) just to have something passed, but already blew it. For full disclosure, I do have some reset credits at this firm so if I ever have to start over from a Combine, I do have less cost to reset.
- The Futures Desk – I have an evaluation here ($6k Static Drawdown / $12k profit target). This account started January 6th ($349). Listing prices so that I can also be transparent about spend. As of writing, this is the firm I am most hopeful to stay with the longest.
Now for the actual Accountability Report:
THE GOAL I AM FOCUSED MOST ON – Staying disciplined.
HIGHLIGHTS/ WINS TO CELEBRATE
- Winning week for me, which is always nice. I also took my 3rd payout from a single account at Tradeify.
- Son is back in school. While I love spending time with my son, I also love having my own time and trading without distractions.
LOWLIGHTS/ THINGS TO WORK ON
- I did some overnight trading on a few days. I typically don’t like to do this. I don’t find anything wrong with any session in particular, but I definitely want to focus on fewer sessions. A part of it might have been driven by the desire to finish one account early, and still have two more for NY session. Since then, I’ve been good about locking out my accounts until NY. I’m going to have to keep up this habit.
TOP LESSON
Small wins can stack up quickly. Learn to just walk away from the market after a solid winning day, and tell yourself “There will be setups tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that”. The small wins lead to payouts for me. Historically this has always been the case for me.
TRADING WEEK GRADE
I give myself an A. I found good opportunities and stuck with keeping things slow and steady even though I knew I would mess more trades. There was a day I slipped on this and it lead to me overtrading, luckily not in a funded account but in Eval/Combine.
TRADER PERFORMANCE
- Topstep: +$1,202.49 for the week in XFA. I’m not going to add more accounts here yet and just let my reset credits sit for longer. I burned one of my five reset credits though, so only four remaining. I should wait off on those for now.
- Tradeify: +$1,516.09 for the week in funded. I also took a $2,500 payout this week which is nice.
- The Futures Desk: I am at $1,754.90 out of the $12,000 profit target. A long way to go which is okay. I feel like I am neglecting this account because I do want to prioritize funded accounts. I typically turn to this account AFTER I’m done with funded, which leaves me tired when I trade this account. The good part is that 31-day extensions are only $49 for this account, so I don’t feel pressured to go fast. I love this about TFD’s policy.
