- Account 1 has a $562.50 balance
- I’m a little annoyed with this one. Nothing like getting DLL first then seeing your move happen. If you’re a day trader and reading this, then you know the feeling! The real answer is that I had bad entries. Anytime this happens to you, the answer is that the entry was just wrong. It is the truth and just deal with it. It doesn’t change that it was hard to watch though, and I understand that. You’ll see in lowlights that I also reset this account. Shame on me.
- In spite of what I say above, I’m actually glad my DLL is tighter relative to my consistency target. Last week I wrote about how now I am at a $1,200 DLL relative to a $860 daily base hit (1.4x). My previous account was a $2,400 DLL relative to a $1,000 base hit (2.4x). I do feel different when it comes to hitting DLL. I don’t feel as pressured the following day to “make it back”.
- Account 2 has a $4,440.15 balance – More than 70% complete! If this was the only account I had going, I would give my week a B instead of a C.

- I received a new and improved direction in a personal project related to trading
- I saw a trader during a live stream for The Futures Desk named Johnny / TradeOrDieX. He created a personalized dashboard and a leveling system (like from RPG games) for his trading.
- I was already trying to create a dashboard for myself using Google Looker Studio using data exports. However, I like the idea of having something completely custom, automated, and real time. It would also not be limited by the capabilities of Looker Studio. I want real time feedback in my trading to help encourage good behaviors and discourage bad behaviors, as defined by me. I have no programming background so this will take time, but I love projects like this. I will be getting assistance from AI.

Lowlights / Things To Work On
- I told myself to focus on smaller moves and scalps in the month of March. I expected volatile markets with large moves due to recent global events. Typically when I target a big move within volatile markets, I also give myself more room with my stops. I was caught on the wrong side. It was frustrating to see it get hit and then reverse though.
- I did go on tilt due to the above and ended up resetting one account just to get back into trading. This was the wrong call because it was driven by FOMO and revenge trading.
- What is funny is that I was long biased, hit my DLL, then saw the market shoot up. After resetting my account, I decided I wanted to fade the move even though I was long biased before (I was being dumb). Hilariously, the market hit my DLL again before going down.
- I even hit DLL again after resetting that account. I lost on both longs and shorts on that account that day. Ooof!
Top Lesson
Let go of losses. Don’t jump straight back into a market after a losing day.
